I have been watching the TVA web site and it looks like they are going to reduce the water flows for the Appalachia tailwater to fill the reservoir up at Hiwassee lake. Pray for rain and lots of it, so we can keep the water flowing. For float trips on the Hiwassee we will be floating one of the lower two sections of river, both have great caddis and mayfly populations.
The fishing lately has been excellent, so if your wanting to get out on the water for a great day don't wait to long. The summer heat will be here before you know it.
