Every year on the Hiwassee we have a fair amount of stripers swim up into the upper reaches of the Hiwassee River. This season the season the striper Fishing has been fairly consistent, well as consistent as striper fishkng can be anyway. We have had a lot of great fish caught so far this year and I am looking forward to seeing how many more we can bring to the net.
We are offering 1/2 day only fly fishing trips for stripers on the Hiwassee @ our normal trip rate of 350.00 on a. 1/2 day.
For fly fishing you will want to be able to cast 8-10 wt rods with anywhere from a 200-350 grn sinking lines.
For spinning gear we recommend 7’ medium / heavy casting rods with a spinning real spooled up with 20-30lb power pro.
If you have any questions feel free to give us a call and we will be glad to help in any way we can.
Thx,
Bill

Where do you put in. I've always wanted a stripper on fly rod. I live on tailgaters of Toccoa. Openings this week?
